                        Welcome to the Placer County Surplus home page!  If you have questions regarding a specific auction please contact the buyer listed in the auction for assistance.  We recommend that bidders view/inspect an auction item before placing a bid.  Appointments for inspections/viewings and auction item pick ups are available every Thursday - please call the buyer listed in the auction to make an appointment.  
All items are sold "AS-IS, WHERE-IS". Buyers are hereby notified that they are solely responsible for furnishing sufficient labor and transportation to load and remove their winning auction items without assistance from County staff. Auction items must be removed within ten (10) business days after successfully paying for the auction item.
VEHICLES FOR SALE: Vehicles for sale may be started for inspection however no test drives are allowed. If a vehicle is not operable/drivable the vehicle must be removed from County property in a safe and professional manner by a licensed towing or transport vendor. Towing arrangements, vendor selection, and all costs associated with towing the vehicle off County property shall be the sole responsibility of the buyer. Placer County is a public entity and does NOT provide SMOG CERTIFICATION or EMISSIONS RETROFIT.******* **All smog related repairs and certifications for vehicles are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
 
NON-PROFITS: If you are a not for profit agency in Placer County and would like to request a donation of County surplus property please contact Procurement Services for additional details and instructions for requesting donations.
