  • All items are sold "as is." Buyers accept items in their existing condition without modifications.
  • Payment for awarded items must be received within 5 business days of the auction close date.
  • Items must be picked up within 5 business days from the payment date. Appointments are required for pickup and can be scheduled by phone or email between 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., excluding the noon lunch hour.
  • Please bring all necessary tools and manpower to pick up and load purchased items. If a third party will be picking up your items, please ensure they adhere to these terms and conditions.
  • Small items can be shipped upon request. The buyer is responsible for providing a prepaid shipping label. Please include your name and Public Surplus Auction number in your email.
  • Refunds will be considered upon request by email. Include your name, Public Surplus Auction number and the reason for the refund in your email.

PayMac handles all payments for Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC).

Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card. NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days of close of auction.

TTUHSC will charge a sales tax of 8.25%. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding on an item(s). When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment. All vehicle sales are tax exempt.

Buyers Premium: A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within 5 business days of notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item. All items are sold "as is, where is". No loading assistance is available.

Bid Deposits: TTUHSC may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.

Pick-up hours by appointment only. Successful bidder will be responsible for removal of item. Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00am-12:00pm and
1:00pm-4:00pm, Monday through Friday, excluding legal holiday
