McBee (Royal McBee) Keysort Machine – Vintage Office Equipment
Description:
This auction is for one McBee (Royal McBee) Keysort machine, a piece of vintage office and data-processing equipment previously owned by a school district. Keysort machines were historically used for sorting and organizing data cards using mechanical or electromechanical processes in accounting, records management, and administrative environments.
The unit is housed in a metal enclosure with a hinged or removable top and appears to include internal sorting mechanisms, as shown in the photographs. Manufacturer labeling for McBee / Royal McBee is visible on the unit.
The machine has not been tested, and overall functionality is unknown. No guarantees are made regarding power, mechanical operation, completeness, or suitability for any specific use. Due to its age, the unit may require repair, restoration, or servicing and may be suitable for parts, display, collector interest, or historical use.
The unit shows cosmetic wear consistent with age and institutional storage, including scratches, scuffs, surface discoloration, and dust.

Pay Mac, Inc. handles all payments for Belen Consolidated Schools.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
Belen Consolidated Schools may charge sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
