This vehicle is owned and is being sold by a public agency. All SMOG related repairs and certifications are the SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER. Sales tax will be collected by the DMV when you go to register the vehicle into your name.

When picking-up items, please have PRINTED PAPER COPIES of:
1. The notice of award
2. Payment receipt, and
3. State issued personal photo identification
and
4. If being picked up by a THIRD PARTY (such as a shipping company), in addition to presenting the three items above, the third party will also be required to present a PRINTED copy of a STATE ISSUED PHOTO ID of the BUYER. (See Terms and Conditions).

Inspection of Auction items by appointment only. All items are sold "as is". No refunds, no guarantees.
County of Siskiyou may require a bid deposit to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers.
PayMac, handles all payments for County of Siskiyou. Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
County of Siskiyou will charge an applicable sales tax rate. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding.
A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up or removal of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award unless otherwise mutually agreed upon in writing or noted within auction listing. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released. Failure to pick-up item(s) within timeframe may result in forfeiture of item.

The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
